Working in partnership with a Chinese Agent, who work with independent schools in the UK to place Chinese students for international study; from a single term to full secondary education. They also provide Immersive Language Programmes for Chinese students to study for a short 2-week block, where we’re supporting them this year. We’re looking to find a school who are willing to host the programme and support the immersive language delivery. Immersive Language Programme Overview The hirer will bring 2 groups of around 15 year 9 students Group 1 at the start of June Group 2 at the end of June The programme requires the school to host the students for 13 nights with a camp provider taking the children off-site over both days of the middle weekend. There will be a chaperone with the students who speaks fluent English and Chinese. During the school day students will join in lessons Students can be split into groups of 3 or 4 and spread out across classes in year 8 and 9 and learn with english speaking students. There is no special teaching requirement, all students can speak very good english and will follow the curriculum in place for the english students. There is a marketing opportunity for the school as parents are actively looking to send students across to the UK to study full time for GCSE and A level years.

I return to the office after every one of the SEA events that I attend and immediately refer to my notes, implementing something new or developmental in my department.
